Subsidies and MediSave Support

Subsidies & MediSave Support

Eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs may receive government subsidies for the shingles vaccine under the National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS).

From 1 June 2026, eligible adults can also use MediSave to help cover the remaining out-of-pocket costs after subsidies, subject to prevailing claim limits:

  • Up to $500 per year under the MediSave500 scheme
  • Up to $700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for individuals with complex chronic conditions
  • An additional $400 per year under Flexi-MediSave for seniors aged 60 and above

Who is eligible for subsidised shingles vaccination?

  • Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 60 years and above
  • Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 18 years and above who are immunocompromised
